Ladies and Gentleman

This is going to be a very sensitive post and am sure that there is definetly going to be a fierce discussion on this topic. After all it is the battle of the sexes. Here Men and Women are the opponents and Confidence will play the referee.

I have practically grown in the midst of men with a family full of cousin brothers who bullied me and treated me just like one of them, never letting me realise I was a gal in any ways. So much so as kid I wanted so much to be a boy that I used to think that if prayed hard enough I wud just turn one. Frankly speaking even now more than 2 deceads later I still prefer the company of men over women to a great extent for various reasons. One of them being there is not much of bickering and feeling bad, u said so and hurt my feelings and such stuff in day to day dealings when it comes to most men. So men are cool ;) and many of them I lived around are some of the most confident ones who thinks too great of themselves and has attiutde as high as Eiffel tower. Mostly such characters are mistaken to be arrogant and sort of proud. Somehow I like being with such super confident men, although at the first go they may not be my favourites but eventually I end up liking them for weird, unknown reasons. And one thing I have noticed is that all these men (whome I have come across) are so confdent because of the people around them who make them feel so secure and comfortable and in a way boost their confidence and self esteem. It maybe their family members, friends or siblings or partners. But pluck out of their so called paradise and put them in a totally new environment where they dont have any of these people to boost his confidence, they will surprise the hell out of ya. You meet a totally different personality, whome you least expected. When they dont have there dear ones around them to boost their morale they almost wear their so called whooping attitude in their shoes and become humble and meek, and frankly I hate to see this transformation but I will not admit that a reality check such as this is needed once in a while for all of us (both men and women). So for a good number for years (most) men's confidence totally depends on the people he lives with but its much leter in his life that men tend to gain their actual confidence out of experience.

Its the flip side for women (i've noticed). Women are mostly very timid and shy in their early years unless its in their genes to be confident and street smart. Its with experinces that the confidence in a women grows and somehow tends to majorly depend on the kind of expriences she comes across in her life, that can be both good or bad.

Its said that understanding a women is more complicated than rocket science. But I guess there is some possibility and scope to understand women even though its complicated and difficult, but understanding men is impossible. One moment these species tries ot give u an impression that they really dont care about u and they are so super confident abt themselves and so secure and dont have feelings and make fun of women who cry on mushy sad movies ... but the next moment u see them come down to planet earth and act like lambs ... so meek and humble, caring and so sensitive and really show that they too have a heart beating inside their rib cage and have feelings. Gosh its so impossible to understand them !

Note** Am frustrated. ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!!!

I agree with the 'self confidence' bit. I am probably an alpha specimen of the male species with a brutal self confidence that verges on arrogance. However, it is those who know me well that see it for what it is :) Well said...

Be prepared for brickbats from the women though.

On a separate note, I am increasingly led to believe that today's woman is a lot stronger and self-reliant than today's man. I speak of the new generation of course..

Well by theory and actual, men are supposed to be that confident egomaniacal thing in generalisation. Part of that stems from their inherent environment which they think they have flushed by their brain, brawn, attitude in whichever order you can recall. Put them someplace else; presto, flumboxed how to go about now.

As for the tissues in case you have seen one hold it, its just a matter of projected vs. inherent thing; come on, we are humans!!

To experiment you need a sample; now go buy the test tubes also ;)
